Its an astonishingly powerful tale of life, love, loss. This is a Princeton Public Library and McCarter Theatre Center community partnership event. A Christmas Carol has been absolutely my favourite story since I was, well, tiny. The Princeton Public Library is located at 65 Witherspoon Street in Princeton, NJ. This event is free and open to the public. Readers are invited to sign up for a time slot at the link below or by calling the library’s Welcome Desk at (609) 924-9529 x1218. All are invited and encouraged to attend-individuals, families, book clubs, and groups-and to participate by reading a portion of the book for the delight of those assembled. We will meet in-person to read the entire story from start to finish in the Community Room. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the beloved Victorian masterpiece-the original “Ghost-Story”-in its literary form, which Dickens’ wrote to be read aloud. Usher in the spirit of the season by participating in the 7th annual public community reading of Dickens’ 1843 novella.
